Operations Analyst Job Posting at CleanChoice Energy

CleanChoice Energy seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented Operations Analyst to monitor transactions related to our community solar and retail electric customer base. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person, to help build a different kind of energy company — one that believes in renewable energy and shares the values of our customers. Key accountabilities include investigating anomalies in customer switching and communicating with utilities to resolve errors.

Responsibilities
This position reports to the Manager, Retail Operations and has no direct reports. Responsibilities include:
  • Monitor enrollment, drop and billing transactions and their completion, accuracy, and timeliness 
  • Investigate and analyze errors in exceptions reports and follow-up on outstanding issues with utilities
  • Work with third-party vendors and internal teams to maintain data accuracy and integrity using Microsoft Excel and various third-party platforms 
  • Collaborate with Customer Care Team to provide additional analysis; assist in resolving customer concerns
  • Develop documentation, research, and support the creation of training materials
  • Develop and implement process improvements related to regulatory changes
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
  • Highly organized, meticulous, and superior attention to detail skills required
  • Excellent computer skills, G Suite and basic Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with multiple departments including Data, Marketing, and Finance
  • Experience with retail electricity, SQL, EDI, and/or CRM systems helpful but not required

Location
A sunny office in Washington, DC overlooking the C&O Canal National Park. We’re one block
 from the Georgetown waterfront.
Compensation
