Math Learning Specialists provide academic coaching and counseling to UMD students taking all levels of mathematics courses who may need extra help and/or skill-building in mathematics.
Whether students want to improve their Algebra course grade or are overwhelmed with Calculus, meeting with a Math Learning Specialist can help:
- Foster a positive math attitude.
- Review math skills.
- Develop efficient study strategies.

Attend Math Learning Workshops
Throughout the semester workshops will be offered as an opportunity for students to learn more about developing studying skills, preparing for exams, developing effecient study strategies and study plans, and improving results of your mathematics study efforts.
