A journey starts with a single step! We make it easy with two simple options:  Students can attend one of our Study Abroad101 sessions, running throughout the spring semester. Our first one is just after the Fair on Feb. 7th - no sign up is needed! Campus colleagues are also welcome to attend! OR students can start online by taking a few seconds to fill out our interest form by clicking on the new button on our homepage. An EA team member will follow up and help them get on their way.

*Affiliate Spotlight: SIT Study Abroad* Internships for credit & no app fee through Feb. 151    We are thrilled to announce that with the support of the University Career Center, UMD students can now earn credit for EDCP386 for SIT's academic internship coursework on select SIT fall and spring study abroad programs including: SIT Study Abroad Kenya: Urbanization, Health, and Human Rights SIT Study Abroad Jordan: Refugees, Health, and Humanitarian Action SIT Study Abroad Madagascar: Biodiversity and Natural Resource Management SIT Study Abroad Chile: Comparative Education and Social Change UMD partners with SIT to offer immersive, experiential learning-based study abroad options centered around critical global issues. SIT's programs are interdisciplinary and cater to a wide array of academic disciplines Javonni McGlaurin from SIT will be at the Study Abroad Fair next week to help students learn more about these exciting opportunities. Help students access SIT programs by reviewing the UMD approved SIT options and spread the word that SIT is waiving the application fee for students who apply for any UMD approved SIT summer or fall program by February 15th!
