On Friday, November 8th, the Academic Achievement Programs will host the 3rd annual #FearlessFirst celebration. The goal of this event is to foster a sense of community among the first generation population on campus and to celebrate and recognize their accomplishments.
We invite students, faculty and staff who identify as or support first generation students to stop by the Stamp Student Union (outside the entrance closest to the Nyumburu Cultural Center) between 11am and 2pm. During this time, learn more about famous first-generation students, grab some hot chocolate and pick up #FearlessFirst swag to help celebrate the achievements and unique strengths first generation students bring to campus. We have also attached a flyer for you to share with your networks.
