Career Center Events



This email is intended to highlight professional development and career exploration events, programs, and resources for BSOS faculty and staff to share with students (e.g., on blogs, TV screens, etc.).




Site visits in NYC over winter break. All students must attend one of the mandatory orientations:



Thursday, November 8 | 5-6 p.m.

Join the University Career Center and special alumni guests as we discuss how to express and share your great scientific research experience on your resume, in an interview, etc.



Friday, November 9 | 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

This Career Shuttle is for students who are interested in gaining a better understanding of career paths available at the U.S. Census Bureau.

*RSVP required by 4pm on November 6

Thursday, November 15 | 11 a.m.-1:15 p.m.

Representatives from leading professional schools of international affairs and policy will be available to connect with prospective students. Learn about masters, mid-career, and PhD programs around the world and get answers to your questions about:
-application requirements, 
-curricula and joint degrees,
-financial aid, 
-and career opportunities.
