Graphic Designer:
The Low Impact Development Center (LID Center) of Beltsville, MD is seeking a Graphic Designer with an associate’s degree or higher and 1 to 3 years of working experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch Up, and Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate will have competence in data and scientific visualization and experience producing training materials, print and online publications, and presentations using Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and PowerPoint. Knowledge or willingness to learn animation and web design software are preferred. Proofreading and writing skills are required. Special consideration is given to applicants fluent in English and Spanish, as well as applicants with Prince George’s County residency. Salary is commensurate with experience. Work schedule is flexible and can be full or part-time. Position will start this fall. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and maintaining GIS databases, with strong graphic skills and experience and the ability to work with a team or independently to prepare reports and presentations. Special consideration is given to applicants fluent in English and Spanish, as well as applicants with Prince George’s County residency. Salary is commensurate with experience.
