Graphic Designer and GIS Technician Job Opportunities

Prince George’s Community College Center for Entrepreneurial Development has two job opportunities from the Low Impact Development Center Inc. (LID Center) located in Beltsville, MD.

Graphic Designer:
The Low Impact Development Center (LID Center) of Beltsville, MD is seeking a Graphic Designer with an associate’s degree or higher and 1 to 3 years of working experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch Up, and Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate will have competence in data and scientific visualization and experience producing training materials, print and online publications, and presentations using Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and PowerPoint. Knowledge or willingness to learn animation and web design software are preferred. Proofreading and writing skills are required. Special consideration is given to applicants fluent in English and Spanish, as well as applicants with Prince George’s County residency. Salary is commensurate with experience. Work schedule is flexible and can be full or part-time. Position will start this fall. Geographic Information Systems Technician:
The Low Impact Development Center (LID Center) of Beltsville, MD is seeking a Geographic Information Systems technician with an associate’s degree or higher and 1 to 3 years of working experience with ArcGIS products. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and maintaining GIS databases, with strong graphic skills and experience and the ability to work with a team or independently to prepare reports and presentations. Special consideration is given to applicants fluent in English and Spanish, as well as applicants with Prince George’s County residency. Salary is commensurate with experience. Work schedule is flexible and can be full or part-time. Position will start this fall.
