DC Government Virtual Career Fair 2022

The District of Columbia’s Department of Human Resources (DCHR) announces its first hiring event of 2022, “New Year, New Career Virtual Hiring Fair.” On Wednesday, March 16th and Thursday, March 17th, from 10am to 6pm, the DC Department of Human Resources will focus on enhancing the interaction between residents, recruiters, and hiring managers in the District of Columbia Government using a virtual platform. Participating agencies have the ability to make on the spot job offers for DC Government vacancies in a number of industries.  Other offers will be made within a week after the event. The event is free and registration is required for jobseekers.  Register Here.

Each day, job seekers can chat with hiring managers from across the District government and qualified applicants may have an opportunity to interview via confidential video chat or phone call. Jobseekers will be able to claim additional preference for District residency, military service, and foster care as applicable in any other hiring event.

To help applicants prepare for this great opportunity, DC Department of Human Resources will also be hosting two “Resume Writing Workshops” on March 14, 2022. The first workshop will be at 9am until 10am and the second from 2pm until 3pm. The workshops will be focused on giving critical tips to applicants on how to make their resume stand out from the crowd. Registration is not required to participate and to join, visit Resume Writing Workshop.

The combined events will provide a sophisticated virtual simulation that enables real time interaction between District recruiters, trainers, and qualified candidates.
