Intern for a Day

Not sure exactly what you want to do, but want to get your foot in the door? The University Career Center offers a wonderful opportunity to UMD students to "intern-for-a-day" at an organization within your interests.

In order to receive an application to participate in this program, you must attend an informative, 30-minute orientation session that will cover the application process, how you will be matched with a host, best practices when shadowing your host on-site, and how to show appreciation to your host after your experience.

Please choose on of these Mandatory Orientation Sessions to join, if interested:

• Tuesday, October 10, 12:00-12:30pm
• Tuesday, October 10, 4:00-4:30pm
• Wednesday, October 11, 12:00-12:30pm
• Wednesday, October 11, 4:00-4:30pm
• Thursday, October 12, 12:00-12:30pm
• Thursday, October 12, 4:00-4:30pm

All session will take place in the University Career Center, South Hornbake Library, 3rd floor.
