Program Coordinator and Advisor for the Master of Arts in International Affairs (MAIR) program

The Center for International Development and Conflict Management (CIDCM) is seeking applicants for a Program Coordinator and Advisor to work with our Master of Arts in International Relations (MAIR) program. This is a 75% FTE position with benefits. The person in this position will:

  • Create and update the MAIR database and maintain accurate records for MAIR students
  • Manage course permissions and registration, graduate clearances, and ensure successful application to the Graduate School
  • Manage the internal application cycle 
  • Advise prospective undergraduates, as well as admitted students as they progress through and complete the program 
  • Schedule MAIR graduate courses
  • Serve as the program’s administrative point of contact to handle all matters when working with campus partners such as the Office of Extended Studies and The Graduate School
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and 1 – 2 years of relevant experience required. Strong organizational, administrative, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential. Ability to self-direct and problem solve is necessary. Must be proficient in general office software (including word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and web-based applications). Customer-service oriented attitude and professional demeanor is expected.
