Presented by Gartner, topics covered during this workshop will include interview types, preparing for interviews, the power of storytelling and the STAR method, and the importance of practice. We strongly encourage you to bring a copy of your resume as Gartner will help you craft a strong answer to behavior-based interview questions using your experiences!

Neurodiversity in the Workplace Workshop

Neurodiversity is a relatively new term that refers to a new dimension of diversity and inclusion at work.  It includes conditions such as autism (including Asperger's syndrome), dyslexia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia, learning style differences, and ADHD.  Increasingly employers are looking for neurodiversity to increase productivity and market share.  Come meet experts in the field and employers who embrace neurodiversity, and learn how this movement might benefit you.

The Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) is the law enforcement and security arm of the U.S. Department of State. It bears the core responsibility for providing a safe environment for the conduct of U.S. foreign policy.
Attend this session to learn about the hiring process and gain tips for enhancing your candidacy to become a DSS Special Agent. Additionally, internship opportunities will be discussed.

The Startup Career & Internship Fair is a partnership of the George Washington University and other local universities. Some of the hottest startups and hundreds of the most entrepreneurial students from the greater DC area gather to network for internships and job opportunities. Additionally, a panel of experts
and notable executives in the startup industry will be invited to speak on a guest panel from 11 AM - 12 PM.

Stop by to take a free professional headshot for your professional profiles (Careers4Terps, LinkedIn, etc.)!

No appointments are necessary. This is a drop-in event. Expect to take 5-10 minutes out of your day. Our photographer will take three photos and email you the photo of your choice from the three options. We will only photograph you from the mid-chest and up, so feel free to bring a professional shirt but forego professional slacks or skirts.
