Get Ready for the GEOG Career and Internship Fair

Planning to attend the Geographical Sciences Career and Internship Fair on Friday, Oct. 20, and want to polish up your resume before the big day? Sign up for our Employer Resume Review session on Monday, Oct. 16, from 1:00-3:45 pm in the University Career Center, S. Hornbake Library, 3rd Floor.

Mr. Hayward, a UMD Alum and GIS Manager at Pure Technologies, will hold office hours in the University Career Center to help you prepare! RSVP to reserve a 30-minute slot between 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. to meet with Mr. Hayward. Sign up for the waitlist, if all slots are taken and you will be notified of additional openings.

Drop-ins: Monday, October 16, 1-3:45 p.m. (in the University Career Center, S. Hornbake Library, 3^rd floor)

University Career Center Staff will be available to assist with the topics below, between 1-3:45 p.m. Students will be seen on a walk-in basis, based on staff availability.

• Reviewing resumes (bring a printed resume with you)
• Offering career fair preparation tips
• Help to create your 30-second pitch 
• Develop questions to ask employers during the Fair
