This is an hourly RAship. The student will be required to commit 10hr/week. The hourly rate will be between $11-$15, commensurate with experience. The work will involve setting up a data collection pipeline from an api, working on data cleaning, visualizations, computing general statistics and insights about the data, and a preliminary exploration of a set of research questions.
The student needs to be proficient in Python and Javascript, and be familiar with visualization tools such as GeoPandas, Folium (or Leaflet).
