Here is a summer internship opportunity from my collaborator Dr. Jia Yu on spatial big data and AI. The internship is part of a larger project -- the AgAID NSF AI Institute -- at the Washington State University, which focuses on AI + Agriculture.
Dr. Yu is the creator of Apache Sedona
(or GeoSpark) and plans to supervise one or more undergraduate interns
in the upcoming summer. This opportunity is open to students with CS or
GIS backgrounds. The internship will be done remotely (supervised by Dr.
Yu) and I can also provide help on the AI/data science side of the
work.
