Green Corps is the country’s most respected training program for environmental organizers, with nearly 400 graduates at work in the environmental movement. They're hiring now for our 2018-2019 program. Students can apply at greencorps.org. Their final spring application deadline is March 15th. We’re accepting the top 15 out of more than 1,000 applicants for our 2018-19 program.
Their year-long program puts you in an intensive classroom training with people like Bill McKibben of 350.org and Jane Kleeb of Bold Nebraska. Then, you move to hands-on experience working with groups like The Wilderness Society or Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project to fight climate change, protect public lands and reform our food system.
The planet needs all the help it can get, especially now with so many protections under attack. To win now and build a strong foundation for lasting progress, we need people who know how to organize: to run organizations and campaigns that will inspire the support and action we need to save our planet.
