Tuesday, February 16 • 3:30 - 4pm | | Virtual Event, RSVP to attend via Careers4Terps
The Joel & Kim Feller Center for BSOS Academic Advising & Career Planning is pleased to host the BSOS Alumni Career Chat series. The Chats connect industry specific alumni/employers with BSOS majors over Zoom.
Katherine Shields, CCJS '99 | Special Agent, NCIS
Special Agent Shields is currently a Division Chief in the Criminal Investigations
Directorate. In this capacity she coordinates the agency’s Systematic Planning,
Accountability, and Resourcing through Collaboration (SPARC) initiative, a data-driven decision making methodology designed to create agency-wide ownership over the quality of NCIS investigations and operations. She is responsible for program planning and direction, cross-disciplinary collaboration, data gathering and analysis, communications and presentation, and after action reporting in direct support of the NCIS Executive leadership team and all NCIS Field Offices.
Our alumni want to hear from our students! This looks to be an engaging session, and we encourage students to ask questions throughout. Students usually ask questions about their background, classes that were helpful, application tips, etc. Check out these sample questions and bring some to the chat! Read more about the BSOS Chat series.
