Hello everyone,
I’m looking for research assistance for 2-3 hours a week for the next few months (exact number of hours are flexible). This position includes hourly pay and will require an overload appointment if you are already serving as a TA, RA, etc. Funding is provided by the BSOS Dean’s Research Initiative.
The project is focused on rubber production and rural socio-economic inequality in Laos. The primary responsibilities are assisting with manuscript preparation --- particularly fine motor tasks like preparing statistical results tables and document formatting --- & perhaps some coding in R, or cleaning code prior to article submission. Activities could be flexible depending on your interest/experience.
An interest in agricultural/forestry sustainability, sustainable development, strong attention to detail, and/or experience with R statistical software would be extremely helpful.
If you’re interested, let me know and feel free to include your CV and a writing sample when you respond.
