This email is intended to highlight professional development and career exploration events, programs, and resources for BSOS faculty and staff to share with students (e.g., on blogs, TV screens, etc.).

The annual 3-day Spring Career and Internship Fair provides all UMD students and alumni with an opportunity to meet face-to-face with employers to discuss internship, full-time and part-time employment opportunities. Each day of the fair has different employers in attendance, so be sure to list of attendees and plan ahead.       The Career & Internship Fair is for all students regardless of class level. PREPARATION ASSISTANCE: Review some of our career fair preparation tips. Plan to attend one of our upcoming fair preparation events, including walk-in hours at the UCC (3100 Hornbake Library, South) from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. February 11-15 &19 for a resume review or to ask questions about the Fair.  Capital One Talks Tuesday, February 12 | 6-8 p.m. Adele H. Stamp Student Union, Prince George's room Come and find out why Capital One is a great place to start your career!  Economics Career Fair and Networking Event Wednesday, February 13 | 2-4 p.m. Conference Center at 1400 16th St, NW, Washington, DC Employers will be seeking to fill full-time, part-time, and internship positions in applied economics, consulting, business, policy, and financial analysis. Careers in Women's and Gender Issues Wednesday, February 13 | 5-6 p.m. Hear from a panel of alumni and professionals working in fields related to and supporting women and gender issues. Peace Corps Information Session Thursday, February 21 | 12-1 p.m. Join us at an Info Session to learn about Volunteer experiences, have your questions answered, and gain tips to guide you through the application process. srcLogic Information Session: Is Consulting Right for You?
