The Office of Personnel Management's Employee Resource Groups will be hosting a Federal Student Forum and Career Fair on Friday, October 12. The forum is open to the public for in-person or virtual attendance. This event is free, interested individuals can register here.
The purpose of this event is to promote and raise awareness about public service in support of OPM’s mission to “lead and serve the Federal Government in enterprise human resources management by delivering policies and services to achieve a trusted effective civilian workforce.” OPM’s Employee Resource Groups: Adelante, AAPIA, Alakai, Impact, VERG, FWD, Ubora, and PWR in partnership with OPM’s Equal Employment Opportunity Office, are pleased to present the 3rd Annual Student Forum.
Target Audience: Current Students or Recent Graduates
Schedule (Eastern Daylight Time):
· 11:00 AM Check-In Begins (onsite only)
· 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM Resume Review Sessions
· 11:30 AM - 4:00 PM Career Fair (ongoing throughout the event, onsite only)
· 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM Main Event in the Auditorium and Live Stream
This event may be attended In-Person or Virtually. Please select your tickets according how you wish to attend. In-Person attendance provides you access to the Career Fair and Resume Review sessions.
If you are attending In-Person:
Please ensure your Full Name during registration is the same as it appears on your valid Photo ID. Please allow yourself enough time for traffic conditions, unexpected delays and the OPM building security screening – where all guests will be required to present valid, government-issued photo identification. Upon arrival, attendees with a valid federal or state issued photo identification card (driver's license, non-drivers license, passport, etc.) must enter the building through the E Street Visitor Entrance, where they will undergo a security screening. Students with a valid school issued photo ID will also be granted access into the building for this event.
