SUPPORT SPECIALIST
Information Technology
GIS Support Specialist: Responsible
for developing/maintaining Geographic Information System
databases/applications, analyzing system requirements, developing, testing and
prototyping GIS applications; and developing procedures for maintaining GIS
databases.
Minimum Qualifications:
Any combination of education, experience and/or training
equivalent to the following:
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in Geographic information Systems, or related field; or
- Applicable technical certifications AND 2 years of professional Information Technology work experience
- A comparable amount of training
and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
