Communications Internship Opportunity with the NOAA Coral Reef Conservation Program
Position Type: Internship (Fall or Spring Part-Time)
Location: Silver Spring, Maryland (United States)
Description: The NOAA Coral Reef Conservation Program is seeking an intern eager to communicate the value of coral reef ecosystems and the body of scientific research the program funds to conserve them. 
Potential Duties Include:
  • Support the planning and drafting of web features and social media content;
  • Identify and compile materials for a multimedia library; and
  • Support the planning of outreach activities that increase awareness about coral reefs and the threats they face among key audiences.

Duration: 3 months
Approximate Hours Per Week: Flexible
Qualifications: Academic status: A junior, senior, or graduate level student enrolled in a communications, journalism, English, or biological/environmental science program.
