Study Abroad Scholarship Opportunity-up to $5,000
The Benjamin A. Gilman
International Scholarship awards up to $5000 to
help fund study abroad opportunities.
In the last two
years, over 60 UMD students have received this highly competitive award but
still only a small percentage of eligible students are applying. Help us to
make to continue to increase this number by sharing this information with your
students!
The application
deadline for spring 2016 is October 6th.
Eligibility requirements:
- U.S.
Citizens
- Pell
Grant recipients
- Applying
for a study abroad program that is at least 4 weeks long.
This is a highly competitive scholarship
which does require advanced planning with Education Abroad and the National Scholarships Office, so encourage your
qualified students to:
