GIS Analyst Internships for Leidos

The Surveillance and Reconnaissance Group is seeking GIS Analyst Interns for active live work on an geospatial project at Leidos.


University students will work on live data within ArcMap for running custom tools, examining tool output and performing topological corrections to the geospatial data over 2 dimensional imagery. 

The internship will provide the candidate with a valuable opportunity to work with a skilled team of geospatial analysts within a production environment to gain skills with production, geospatial editing techniques, gain knowledge of government specifications/schemas and exposure to a professional office environment.

Requirements: Current college students (first year and above) pursuing GIS degrees, GIS certifications or Geography degrees that include use of ArcMap, or closely related field. Must have a solid understanding of GIS principles and ability to edit data. A GPA of 3.0 or higher is desired. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
